MARKETING INTERN – ZERITIS GROUP

Zeritis Group is searching for a Marketing Intern as a means of further expanding its marketing team. The key objective of this role will be to assist in the execution of the Zeritis Group Marketing Strategy, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in marketing and communicational activities (e.g. social media posts, corporate website updates, etc.)
  • Liaise with external partners following up on the implementation of the Group’s marketing plan and provide project status updates
  • Support monitoring market trends, researching consumer markets and competitor activities to identify opportunities across the portfolio of the Group’s companies
  • Brainstorm new product ideas which can potentially lead to new product development
  • Prepare corporate presentations
  • Support the marketing team in daily tasks

Position Requirements

  • Current student in the final year towards earning a Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate with a relevant educational background, preferably in Marketing.
  • Fluent in English language (written & spoken)
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge
  • Highly developed communications skills
  • Enthusiastic & goal oriented person, willing to gain experience and grow professionally

Based in Athens, the candidate will be reporting to the Group Brand Manager.

MILL MANAGER – BELOVO PAPER MILL

ZERITIS GROUP / Greece

Description 

Belovo Paper Mill is seeking for a Mill Manager to be part of the company’s executive leadership team and report directly to the company’s Top Management. The key objective of this role is to direct the papermaking, converting and technical services departments of the company. Based in Belovo, Bulgaria, the candidate will be leading multiple projects of strategic significance for the optimization of the mill.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Organizing, directing and monitoring, day-to-day operations
  • Optimizing processes related to tissue paper production from virgin (pulp) and recycled (wastepaper) fibers, converting operations and technical services (utilities, preventive and corrective maintenance)
  • Suggesting and following up on the implementation of practices for optimization of production efficiency by speed maximization, elimination of planned and/or unplanned shut down times, minimization of reject rates and deployment of normative techniques for raw material, energy, chemicals and water consumption
  • Participating in the development of mill projects and in project management teams
  • Evaluating and optimizing Mill’s quality procedures and standardization (including raw materials, additives, equipment parts and final products)
  • Recommending and implementing preventive maintenance plans
  • Creating incentive schemes that connect production and maintenance employee targets with their compensation
  • Evaluating, training, developing and monitoring the performance of subordinates
  • Securing certifications relating to the manufacturing process
  • Promoting health and safety standards within the production facility, while reassuring that they are adhered to
  • Proposing investments in machinery to improve energy efficiency, water consumption, raw material consumption, as well as product quality
  • Staying updated with latest production management best practices and techniques

Position requirements 

  • Minimum 8 years of tissue paper production and/or conversion work experience
  • BSc in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering. MBA or MSc is a plus
  • Degrees specialized in pulp, paper or packaging and certifications in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), Single-Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Lean Six Sigma (6S) or any other production related diploma are a plus
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (i.e. budgeting, resource allocation, human resources, strategic planning)
  • Fluent knowledge of English; knowledge of Bulgarian or Greek is a plus
  • Strong organizing, analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Leadership, communication and team working skills, while being able to engage in a hands-on management style
